Field Trip to Great Country Farms

On Friday, I went to Great Country Farms for my field trip. At Great Country Farms, we got to feed animals like goats, sheep, and horses. We saw a great big ostrich sticking his head out of a gate at us, and he said, "Where's my corn, I want some!" There was also a big slide called the double barrel slide and there were these big sewer pipes, they were like about at least 30 yards long. I went down it backwards, head first, upside down. We also got to go on the big moon bounce things that was actually a whole bunch of pillows with plastic on it. It was a gigantic pillow, at least 20 yards long!

And the strawberries we picked were from a great big field. We saw some that had a perfectly good one, but the big nose was the only problem. And Ben was taking pictures away with his mom's camera and his mom was yelling at him because he was taking too many pictures because it was a disposable camera. Oh, and there was also big duck race where on one end there were these pumps that pumped out water, and you tried to push a duckie across with the water. Whenever somebody finished their race, the water that they pumped would go into our bucket. Whenever we finished a race, the water would go into their bucket. The only colors for the ducks were blue and yellow.

Luke, your field trip sounds like it was a lot of fun. I got to go on Jake's field trip to a Nature Park, but we didn't get any strawberries to eat!!!

Hi Luke,
I think I remember going with you to that farm a couple of times when you were just a wee person. They had the best strawberries but I don't remember any strawberries with noses - is that something new they are growing there? Yum! I am with Uncles Chuck and Adolfo in Vancouver. It is raining here today - YEA! Love, Grandma
